And All Is Quiet
Dammit. Piggy can't seem to book out for the weekends (he's stuck in camp for gaurd duty last week, and this week, the national day parade rehersal), so no shopping for this week. And one more Saturday burnt. Was planning to pop by Lorgan's to scour for a wedding gift for Dennis, but I guess I've got to put that aside awhile. It's never fun shopping alone.
Met up with Colin last Saturday, and it's been sooo long since we talked. Kinda missed having him around, but he's been pretty busy himself. He wasn't in the best of moods, so we just walked, and walked..and walked (?!). Of course, we had so much to say, and I think he's going thru a rough patch with his girlfriend who he fought so hard to stay together for. At some point of it all, I just feel like telling him that he deserves so much better, and that he should just dump her, if it's giving him more pain than joy. I sense that he's in a dilemma, but I guess in the end, he's got to figure it out for himself. I'll support him no matter what the outcome, as long as he's happy. Being friends, we've certainly come such a long way. I pray all goes well for him.

On Cloud 9
Yesterday totally blew me away. I arrived in Heeren to be greeted by the all-smiling Mr SexxxY a.k.a the-temperature-guy. He took my temperature, and somehow he tried to convince me that he did remember my name. Well, it was quite a laugh, and he is ever so adorable(We flirted for a whole five minutes). *giggle* Oh yes, he did remember my name. Hehehe..he even bid me goodbye as I went up. Was on cloud nine the whole morning after, and as with good moods, the sales for the day was pretty alright as well. Sold a helluva lot of Ballet shoes, which are our most expensive ones, and that really made my day. Of course, there was the temperature taking session later in the afternoon...*giggle*..(sorry, I just can't help myself)...although his colleagues did ask me which race I belonged to..and he pointed to Mr Sexxxy (see, it's not just one X) as being of mixed blood. I didn't question much, although Mr Sexxxy seemed to wanna get my opinion on that...I was busy serving a customer (dammit!). Luckily she bought the shoe..haha..anyway, it really isn't her fault..it's just...*Bad* timing? hahaha..
I was doing full shift the whole day, and I think I was so bored out of my mind that I played Spider Solitaire like a hundred times on the computer. Luckily I closed the window in time when Pheobe and Eugene (my big bosses, minus Benny..*phew*) popped by for a surprise visit. Pauline apparantly didn't have the best of days, with Taka sales threatening to hit a zero, but I guess lady luck was on her side coz she sold two pairs of shoes within the last ten minutes. That mustabeen such a relief.
Did my shift in the shop with Pauline the day before, and you can bet we had such a crazy time trying to pass the time. Pauline got a bit wonky (I think it's the lack of coffee), and she was trying her best to irritate the hell out of me. I was apparantly the (ONLY) victim as there wasn't anyone around she could bully. We had fun though. Almost didn't make it out of the shop alive, was getting stitches from laughing so much.
Haha..Pauline's probably gonna kill me for this (I'm sure she'd threaten to sit and fart on me), but I just had to add it in coz it's soooo funny! She *ACTUALLY* thinks that *I* can speak German! HHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAa...oops, sorry babes..it was too good to refuse. I think it all started out coz I'm always mumbling to Dennis in my fake German accent, and I think somehow she bought it...The other day she just asked me how do the Germans say "good?", and I was like, "why are you asking me?". Her reply was,"But,don't you know how to speak German?" *grin*
It's flattering, really, that she thinks that I'm *soooo* talented (NoT!), but the truth is, I only do the accents babes! When I do get to Europe and if I ever pick up Zherr-man (hehee), I'd let you know. (:

It's Getting *Hot* In Here...
Shoot. I think I'm becoming more gay-fied. It's not like I discriminate against them, but lately, their way of greeting has kinda taken me by surprise. No longer do I get hugs from them, but they do the kiss-on-the-cheek thing. It's weird, being kissed by guys who are more interested in other guys. No offence, anyone. Didn't mean to sound prudish. d: Oh. I get kissed by girls too. This is not normal. Never happened all at the same time before for me anyway. It's too much! hahaa...
Anyways...when I came in to Hereen for work today and went to take my temperature taken, the guy gave me a nice smile and I went like WOW. The new temperature-taking guy has a very impressive set of pearly whites..and a Cindy Crawford mole above his upper lip. OOoo..SeXXXxxxyyyy! *greow*! Hahaha..he's quite okay lookin to boot too- tall, tanned, atheletic looking, and of course, those teeth! Gosh. I just need to get him to remember my name now..hahaa!

My dear, dear friend Nana sent this to me. I thought it was pretty inspiring.
It gives us reasons to always do our best anyway. Be it good days, or crappy ones.
(:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------*
Anyway
People are unreasonable, illolgical, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives.
Love them anyway.
If you are successful you may win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable.
Be honest and transparent anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt.
Give the world your best anyway.
It gives us reasons to always do our best anyway. Be it good days, or crappy ones.

All The Missing Links
A lot has been happening with my family these days..with my mum finally reunited with her real family after what has been years. It's weird, that overnight I've "inherited" six aunties and uncles. It should be an emotional event for my mum, but I guess she's taking it pretty well. I'm just happy for her.
Had a chance to catch up with some old friends these days, and it's nice hearing from them after so long. My friends from Taka have all left, as the school term is starting and they're all getting ready for poly. Thank god they still come and visit, though. (:
Argh. My e-mail is screwing things up again. I wonder why it's always so slow and why it keeps downloading the same old shite again. I just feel so jinxed. Then again, it could be a virus (?!!). Time to get a new e-mail address, I guess.
Bought a Tim Tamashiro cd last week, and now I'm pretty much flat broke already. The cd's amazing..and I guess I should stop promoting Buble for now, since he's got adverts on Tv promoting his cd. All in all, Tamashiro isn't all that bad since it's been getting positive reviews from the customers. Haha..I realize that these past three months I've been supplying the music at X:Odus..damn..
I realize that I'm running out of time..it seems that the week goes by so much faster than ever. Pauline says it could be because I'm trying to hold on to time coz I don't have much of it left, but it never works. *sigh*.
Two months to go..and counting. ):

Someone Step On The Ice-Cream Please!
Haha, yup, got that right! There was a lump of chocolate ice-cream which fell on the floor in front of Crepes & Cream this afternoon, just a scoop, which Dennis and me couldn't help but wish for someone to step on and fall. It looked really gross, but when you're bored, even other people's misery is entertainment enough. The ice-cream got kicked around *TWICE*..haha..poor buggers..but it was so fun to watch people almost stepping on it. Our fun was short-lived when the cleaners came to wipe it up(Damn!).
Met up with Dawn and Francine(who were LATE, by the way..coz they were at the arcade..aarghhh!) yesterday, we just had coffee and hung out awhile. They said that I look very tired now..am I just getting older? Are my wrinkles showing? I certainly HOPE NOT! Gosh..haven't seen them for ages, since I stopped teaching. Had such a laugh, and I definately missed them. Some things just never change. (:
Went out for dinner with Pauline today, but not before I got my second pair of uniform shoes (actually fourth...hee..) from Dennis. So, *YAY*! Nothing could be better than free shoes that people actually *pay* to wear..hehee.. I can't believe it's been three months on the job already..(we get new shoes every three months)..time really flies. *sigh*
Golly, I should really get some shuteye. Don't wanna be growing new wrinkles, do we? *wink* (;
Tomorrow's the weekend,..YAYYYYYYYY!

All Together Again
After so long, it feels like the Clayworkers clan has finally reunited. Went down to glaze my cups, and was just asking about Azman, when strangely enough, Ros mentioned that he was on his way down. It was such a pleasant surprise when he popped by minutes later, and we had a ball of a time catching up! It has been such a long time since the three of us(Ros, Azman and me) got together and had a decent chit chat. Lawrence joined us later, and boy, it was noiiiisyyy! Ros was kinda stressed in the beginning, bogged down by her freelance and all, but things looked up later, so she survived (good on you, babes!).
We later went to the opening of the new clay shop downstairs, coz one of the guys who set it up happens to be our friend. Wow. Talk about competition! Haha..but I guess Ros shouldn't worry, because their style of pottery is very conventional, whereas Clayworkers has a more eclectic mix of ceramic art pieces. Well, art is subjective. Who am I to judge? *shrug*
I am still feeling full from yesterday. Met up with my dadsie (it's a long story), Taufiq, and he brought me out to dinner and ice-cream at Swensen's later. Man...is he trying to stuff me?! Hahaha...we had the Earthquake, mind you, and we chose almost all of the chocolate flavours! *yummmm...* Mmm...Sticky Chewy Chocolate..Chocolate Peanut Butter....MmmMmmm...
