Dysfunctional Dreamer

January 18th The Artrocker- Mando Diao

That was the gig I went to see last night, with Joe,girlfriend Laura, Viqui and Yuko. Mando Diao (www.mando-diao.com/uk) is a Swedish underground rock band, which Joe has introduced to us, with constant airplay on the work stereo, and seeing them live last night was just AMAZING!!!! Wwwwoooooooo!!!! Of course, he didn't tell us what the band members looked like...which ended up being a bonus when you're less than a metre away from the lead vocalist and bassist...(swoon)! ***Sigh*, so that's where all the beautiful men are...into music! Hahaha..anyway, it was a rockin good gig, and we were all dancing,laughing and having a ball. It was definately worth it waiting outside in the cold for an hour to get into The Buffalo Bar, but among friends, it ended up seemingly less painful. We were almost disappointed and refused an entry because it was already packed inside when we got to the door, but our wait wasn't in vain,as we ended up getting seats to lounge on while we waited for the bands to come out...although...we ended up having to pay £5 on entry...which is supposed to be free for members....*pfffthh*
Wow, my first proper gig in London...and I'm definately eager for more to come!!! (:

Pity Joe is leaving...he's so good with music,...we're all gonna miss him when he leaves... ):
I think Viqui, Yuko and me will start our own tragic flood come Saturday when we all say goodbye...
