Not To Be Ungrateful And Mean, But...

My mum and sister have finally arrived in London. I take it that they want every waking moment with me (my mum is already pissed off this morning coz I have to go to school for a tutorial about my work placement) and if this keeps up, I will never have enough time to put my work together by July and send out my cvs!!!!! Then who's gonna hire me?!!! Bloody hell man...

I have a feeling it's gonna be a looooooooooong 3 weeks ahead! *sigh*

Been Out Gardening Among The Slugs and Snails...

Last Monday I stumbled upon something which may grow into a small hobby. In a conversation about plants and things with Diana, my housemate, I offered myself to come and assist her in the afternoon when she was on her way to the plant nursery in Denmark Hill. Took a very nice breezy walk, out of the HOT sun to this small nursery dotted with pretty florals. Diana had to really restrain me from buying everything(everything was so pretty and cheap!) but the theme of our buy was 'edible plants' and well, for the budget of £20 and my small contribution of £5, we got: rosemary, sage, lemon balm, chive, french lavender (purple and white) and a tiny strawberry plant! It took about an hour of repotting and gardening and upon aquiring new tricks on planting, I was very sticky and sweaty, but very fulfilled.

Four days on, and all the plants have flourished and look very healthy!
We also have a teeeeny weeny strawberry on it's way to grown-up strawberry-dom. We intend to celebrate our success by picking it when it's ripe, cut it in half and savour the half-strawberry each with some cream on the side...hee!

Other than that, been busy making new work for my summer exhibiton, which, intially had a theme, but as the weather got hotter, people got lazier...and well....it's a mix and match all over again. Ain't complaining though, the private view's tonight...and I spent lots of time on my work, but just one tiiiiiiiny piece...whereas others have masses of work. Ooooooooohhh!*sob* ):
Ah well,...I'm too bummed out to do anything about it now!

Gouge My Eyes, Pleassseee!

So tired of looking at the computer screen, I wished I had internet at home and a fast-moving computer. Ok, make that a fast-moving computer with internet. So I can be anywhere at home, and surf online for data at any given time of day. Not crammed into the few hours that I have in school! Aaarghhhh!

Been looking for companies that I can work for in the work-placement elective which will take place in September-October. So far, I kinda have a feel of where to go, but I should compile my work soon, and send it in!!!

Furthurmore, our end-of-year exhibition is coming up, so have to make more work for that too!!!!*sigh*.........

AND I have to look for places to go when my mum and sis come over, which I am yet to do...and gosh,...it's all tooooooo muchhhh!!!!!!

And then I thought school term and work was over...my my...*collapses..*

The only plus side? Currently in love with the soundtrack of 'Next Stop Wonderland'(have I ever told you that the Portuguese language sung is sooooo poetic and beauuuutifooolll??).
That, and oh, the sun's out. (:

Schooooolllll's OUT!

Yes, well...not officially...but it does mean that there will be nothing much to do in terms of schoolwork for the next few months, because YES, it is the beginning of the very long summer holidays!!! Yay! And for those who think otherwise,...well....you can wipe my ass with your woes. Boo hoo! d:

I have to stop having the chocolate filled donut from Wildbean Cafe...I'm getting addicted to those evil little treats...Have to stop, before I pop!

Andddd.....come Friday onwards, we will finally see some sun in London! Woo hoo, roof terrace time! (:
